About the client :

Our client is a fast growing and leading Banking Product firm.

Responsibilities :

- We are looking for a specialist someone who understands the technology & product; should know the purpose of product and how to make it work.

- The role will be responsible for Planning, monitoring and release management and work within Product Engineering, Design, Architecture and Development of multiple Products within Banking.

- The role is expected to understand the Banking domain. This role has a prime focus towards creating new products and designing of the products.

- The incumbent must have experience and appreciation of changing trends. It would be very important to adapt to the new trends and provide solutions that suit the customers- future-looking needs. This will not only help in consolidating relationships for the current business, it would also help in opening up new avenues as well.

Job purpose :

- Provide leadership to the Core product development across engineering disciplines within Intellect Digital Core Banking Product Suite in alignment with the business priorities and with clear insights into our customer perspectives

- Create, nurture and develop highly skilled associates, first through leading by example, supplemented by, formal and informal capability development initiatives, Manage the career aspirations of key talent while keeping a check on key associate risks

- Leading the transformation of how we work in collaboration with other leaders within the business unit and organization unit to enhance the engineering capability and responsiveness to achieve reliable execution

- Champion the best practices in terms of agile development, on-time and in-full release delivery and automation of devops to optimize the quality and predictability of deliverables

Key expectations :

- 15-25 yrs of total experience with good academic qualifications

- Strong Product Engineering / Product Development experience in Banking

- Prior experience of having worked in a leadership role within Product Engineering

- Would prefer Retail Banking / Digital Banking experience

- An understanding and appreciation of the digital marketplace business model would help

- Hands-on approach and strong execution skills

- Be hard-working and diligent, discipline to convert strategy into action

- Thinking out of the box and come up with innovative solutions

- Ability to come up with solutions that would reduce cycle-times drastically

- Ability to work with an organization at different stages of growth and modify one's approach according to the need.
