Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate existing operational processes, procedures, and systems to identify areas for improvement. Implement changes to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize potential losses. Implement effective internal controls, monitor operational risk indicators, and establish contingency plans.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and motivation. Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and facilitate training and development programs to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.
Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, finance, compliance, and IT departments, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
- Additionally, maintain relationships with external parties, such as vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
Technology and Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology systems and platforms that support operational functions. This may include core LMS systems, transaction processing platforms, risk management tools, and reporting systems.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay updated with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. Implement and maintain compliance programs, conduct audits, and respond to regulatory inquiries.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance. Generate reports and present findings to senior management, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and recommendations for enhancing operational effectiveness.
Customer Service: Work closely with the customer service teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. Establish service level agreements, monitor customer satisfaction levels, and implement initiatives to enhance customer experience.
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in operational practices. Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills related to financial services operations.
- MUST have experience in managing large scale operations.
- Should have thorough understanding of full lifecycle of loan onboarding process.
- Prior experience in a Fintech organisation would be an added advantage.
