About our Client - Our client is a leading global financial services company operating out of more than 100 countries while providing consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial products and services. Their Business is in a phase of aggressive growth. The Mumbai COE (Centre of Excellence) FP&A will play a key part in this growth by being be a key partner of the Core FP&A teams across all regions. Over time, this newly formed team will drive the standardization and rationalization of core P&A activities across the organization.

Job Description - Pioneering the growth of the High profile Centre of Expertise site in Mumbai by:

- Interacting with people at all different levels and areas of the organization

- Preparing and analyzing Key Management Review Decks for individual Regions and Head Office

- Preparing Periodic Budgets and Forecasts and drawing Monthly Estimates across Regions

- Ad-hoc analytical support to regional Planning Heads

- Analyzing P&L, Head-counts and Balance Sheet

- Managing a large analytical team (around 30-50) consisting of highly skilled and experienced financial analysts

- Driving standardization and sharing of best practices across Regions and Products

- Re-engineering processes to improve productivity, controls and quality of key reports.

- Working with onshore CFO teams to improve levels of engagement

- Leading Global FP&A Transformation Projects

- Playing an active role in the Mumbai COE Management Committee (Knowledge sharing, participation in cross-team Projects and providing thought leadership etc)

The Successful Candidate - You will be a Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with at least 12 years of FP&A experience, who has worked in a senior role with a Banking COE. You will have a background in financial analysis and management reporting and be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Power-Point, Excel & Word). You will have experience working with data and knowledge of financial reporting tools such as Essbase, Solar & SMART. You will also have the ability to communicate effectively and manage large analytical teams. Additionally you will have strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills. You will have a keen eye for detail and be an Adaptable, multitasker who demonstrates an ability and desire to develop and improve by challenging status quo.
