SVP - Economic Research - BFSI

One of our client who is a leading player in the Banking and Financial Services area is looking for candidates with experience in marco economic research and strategy experience in the insurance sector.

- A key function of the India team is to support the data needs of the other three ER&C hubs in Zurich, Hong Kong and New York, ensuring the availability and quality of up-to-date insurance and competitor data.

- Conduct global research projects in collaboration with ER&C global hubs as well as different internal/external stakeholders.

- Provide strong management and technical support to team members through coaching and training and helping upgrade their analytical skills, knowledge and competencies.

- Build relationships and maintain network with internal stakeholders as well as external clients (including regulators). This position also requires engagement with external think-tanks, academia, and other financial services companies and consultants in order to develop the organizations thought-leadership on insurance and reinsurance issues.

- Contribute, and manage the team inputs, towards various publications,e.g. expertise papers on insurance topics, sigma publications

- Conceptualize and implement new internal engagements of data projects, newsletters, analysis, etc.

- Contribute on various ad-hoc projects and activities, including (but not limited to): industry /segment analysis where they have business interests, analysis of competitor/clients financial statements etc.

- Represent the company through participation and/or presentation in different internal and external events (client meetings, conferences, media events, university tie-ups (guest lectures), etc.)
