Job Title - Compliance Testing

Proposed Grade: VP2/SVP1

Location Corporate Office-Mumbai

Reporting To CCO

Financial Crime Compliance, Regulatory compliance, monitor and testing and internal control with ability to work independently and in team environment. Highly motivated, results oriented business professional with effective leadership skills

Position Purpose:

Compliance Testing Official:

The primary objective of the role:

1. Manage and conduct monitoring and testing across compliance risks.

2. Understand and educate business partners on the fundamentals of risk and control and partner with Compliance advisory.

3. Thorough understanding of regulatory guidelines and the risk emanating out of it.

4. Have the ability to apply different review techniques to maximize assurance

5. Identify control deficiencies/ validate control weakness.

Position Responsibilities:

1 1. Demonstrate good risk awareness across different business and complete complex design testing of regulatory controls.

2. Keep abreast of regulatory developments or other matters affecting the business activities, systems and controls and factor them during testing.

3. Identifying the effectiveness of the design of the control based on testing.

4. Proactive engagement with business teams to understand the control in place and discussing design deficiencies, if any.

5. Prepare testing report and discussing with business teams/heads clearly articulating the issues identified.

6. Undertaking testing as per laid down framework and calendar.

7. Following up with stake holders for control improvement wherever identified.

8. Placing of testing report with detail and pictorial analysis to top management.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement

Qualifications: Essential Graduate/Post Graduate

- Essential Work experience of 12 to 14 years in working with Risk & Control, Compliance or Internal audit function. Excellent people management skills. Good drafting skill is a positive.

- Sound understanding of Compliance risk, Compliance Functions, regulatory framework Proficient in financial services (banking). Ability to demonstrate good judgement on a consistent basis. Ability to multi-tasking.

- High level of inquisitiveness and desire to learn.

- Functional Inter-linkages

Internal & External - The candidate has to work in close coordination with Business, Finance, Operations and Risk
