Job Profile: Manager - Sourcing

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Managing Sourcing in Food/FMCG in Ecommerce is preferable (Noida, Ghaziabad region will be a plus)

Industry Background: FMCG, FnB, E-commerce, HORECA

Role Description:

As a Sourcing Manager in the FMCG industry, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality.

- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.

- Managing supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as operations, marketing, and finance, to understand their sourcing needs and requirements.

- Planning Inventory in an efficient way to manage balance between over stocking & stock outs.

- Monitoring market trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.

- Managing supplier performance metrics and driving supplier performance improvement.

- Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives, such as supplier consolidation, process improvements, and value engineering.

- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

- To excel in this role, you should have strong analytical and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Previous experience in FMCG sourcing or procurement is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of supply chain management principles.
