THE POSITION:

SUPPLY PLANNING MANAGER

CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:

- The Supply Planning Manager is primarily responsible for owning the Supply Management Review (SMR) Process in India & enable FG Range availability of all skus at all depots while maximizing asset utilization and minimizing overall cost incl. inventory.

- Custodianship of Supply Review with a 3 Period Outlook (3PO) Process is important to deliver exceptional levels of visibility and integration into the SMR. The SMR delivers key business priorities within supply and provides effective supply gap closure focusing on the medium term i.e. the next 26 periods. The role of SMR is also to balance demand and supply within the ISC business and various supply units.

- Key metrics such as Customer Service Levels, Inventory turns, DOFC and Freshness are the key deliverables of the SMR.

- The Supply Planning Manager through the SMR process will therefore play a critical link to connect to the various global forums which the ISC has not established formally yet. These are namely the global inventory management and logistics efficiency forums that track global initiatives and improvements around Inventory turns, conversion costs and various supply chain projects.

- The associate will own the deliverable of a number of key projects that continue our journey to delivering the freshest products, superior customer service at a competitive cost. Therefore the associate will be expected to write up project charters and assume the overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of such projects. The role although having no direct reports is highly dependent on getting things done through others.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The purpose of this job is make the products available in all our locations on time as a part of demand fulfillment process while maximizing asset utilization and minimizing overall cost inc. of inventory.

- Supply planning manager will be custodian of supply review with the management, supply visibility & integration, freshness, inventory turns & supply gap closure.

- To ensure 95% Range Availability at Depot and OTIF of 95% for MT along with freshness target of 90% of stocks < 90 days at RD

- Inventory Turns – 9 or DOFC – 45.

- Coordinate NPD / Promotion planning for timely availability of stocks

- Building relationship and collaborate with Supply Points (Dubai / Veghel)

- Supply Network planning with changing Demand and Supply patterns

- Processes: S&OP, RCCP incl. Supplier capacity, Optimized dispatches & Factory to Depot Pull

- Integration to the relative global teams on freshness, costs and service.

THE PERSON:

- Experience in Supply Chain in planning roles (Supply, Production or Demand)

SECTOR - FMCG / FMCD

EDUCATION - BE / B Tech, PGDM / PGDIE, APICS (optional)
