A job opening for Supply Lead - Rigid packaging- Strategic Sourcing Role

Role: Category (Supply) Lead - Industrial & Packaging

1. Scope of Responsibility:

a. Category management, supply & ops ownership for the respective categories (Packaging / MRO &; MEP)

b. Drive GMV and profitability for the categories that operate under industrial & packaging through supply & ops side strategic initiatives

c. Category leadership by setting strategic objectives for the category in line with customer, catalogue, supply chain and financial KRAs

d. Design, set up and scale up catalogue selection, supplier base, brand relationships to enable high impact on KRAs

e. Work closely with supply chain, marketing, tech and other enabling functions to drive customer acquisition, AOV, repeat purchase, cross - sell by interfacing with demand function across multiple online and offline sales channels

f. Lead analytics approach to refine the GTM objectives and lead team to implement initiatives across target customer segments, geos and categories

g. Deliver customer insights through analytics & customer research to enable growth of business

2. Prior experience desired:

a. Total experience: 8 to 10 years

b. Of which atleast 4-5 years in managing above categories with GMV & profitability ownership

c. Atleast 2 years of e-commerce experience

d. Should have managed supplier base with a team

e. Conversant with packaging / industrial product e-commerce and product knowledge

f. Engineering Degree in mechanical or packaging tech. is a plus

3. Reporting Structure:

a. Role reports into Business Head - Industrial & Packaging

b. Reportees into this role will be supply managers dedicated to the Category

4. Market allocation:

a. The role will be responsible for pan-India geographies for the allocated category
