Job Description - Supply Chain Leader for the After Market business of an Auto OEM company
Client Details
Our client is a leading passenger vehicle OEM in the India Market and have ambitious plans to invest and grow in India. Their after-market business demands a Supply Chain Head for the successful implementation of Depot Network Development and Supply Chain Management & Strategies for Parts & Accessories procurement and distribution in India and Export Markets.
Description
Reporting into the Director of After Sales market and managing a team of 5-6 direct reportees, you will be responsible for:
- Developing efficient Supply chain from Vendor to dealer for domestic/ export market. Ensuring Parts, Spares & Accessories and Cars distribution to Dealers. Setting up Depot Network strategy and benchmarking with competition supply chain infrastructure, service levels and quality.
- Setting up Logistics process as per the client standards in all Warehouses. Managing and improving warehousing operations. Quality and claim management with the dealers and suppliers
- Maintaining adequate inventory of Parts and Accessories to achieve targeted service level. Supporting After sales business with optimum logistics cost of sales and inventory management. Procuring of Parts, Accessories from Suppliers and Headquarters abroad.
- Budgets and Planning estimations. Monitoring and improving savings in budgets with cost saving ideas & innovation.
- System implementation to deliver logistics processes and handle Parts and Accessories business requirements. Supporting dealers on inventory management via ERP system
- Monitoring and improving services of 3PL, Suppliers (including setups abroad). Ensuring supplier quality by monitoring and audits.
- Timely and Damage free distribution of Cars manufactured/ Imported to the client's dealerships network. Company Car fleet administration and auction process. Ensuring and supporting business for insurance coverage for Parts & Accessories and Vehicle distribution and Storage.
- Leading, motivating and managing team. Ensuring that the company guidelines, process, systems are compliant according to company standards.
- You should also have an experience of setting up greenfield depots/warehouses. Your hold on Logistics and Warehouse Management should be excellent.
- You should have leadership skills like team management, results driven, process orientation & strategic ability.
- You should have excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment
