Supply Chain Head - B2C/eCommerce/Agri Tech

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Supply Chain Management for our rapidly growing e-commerce company. As the primary leader in the supply chain function, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products to our customers. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce supply chain dynamics.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate supply chain considerations into product development, sales, and marketing strategies.

2. Supplier Management:

- Oversee relationships with key suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply of goods.

- Implement vendor performance metrics and regularly assess supplier performance against established KPIs.

3. Inventory Management:

- Lead inventory planning and forecasting efforts to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.

- Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

4. Logistics and Distribution:

- Design and optimize logistics and distribution networks to maximize efficiency and reduce lead times.

- Collaborate with third-party logistics partners to ensure seamless transportation and delivery processes.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in supply chain management within the e-commerce B2C industry

- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and technologies.

- In-depth knowledge, experience of logistics, 3PL logistics, warehouse, demand planning / forecasting, liquidation, sourcing & procurement.
