- Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Define optimal purchasing operating model - Centralized / Decentralized
- Define a capability development plan, highlighting the improvements in workforce, process/technology
- Define Procurement / supplier Policy
- Define and understand end to end process - Source to Pay with RACI, KPIs and SLAs
- Contract Lifecycle Management
- Strategic (Global / Local) Sourcing
- Global Sourcing & Local sourcing strategies
- Cost reduction initiatives / value engineering
- Part of TCO savings generation initiatives
- Supplier Development
- Supplier score-carding / performance management
- Supplier integration and on-going relationship management
- Part of TCO savings and innovation generation initiatives
- Procurement Workforce Transformation (Optional)
- Supporting staffing of the new organization
- Design competency management program and support the actual competency development with a.o. coaching, ILT and Supply Chain Academy
- Design and implement performance management framework based on balanced scorecard
- Process & Technology Improvements
- Select, Design and implement supporting technology like Spend analysis, eSourcing, Value Tracking, Contract Management, P2P and Supplier integration.
The candidate needs to be open to extensive travel - 75% travel will be required anywhere India / Abroad.
