Roles and Responsibilities

- Diagnosing supply chain business problems with limited data, applying domain expertise and making appropriate recommendations

- The ability to articulate value to customers and independently run POCs is critical

- Hands on experience providing consulting based analytical solutions focusing on (but not limited to) demand planning and forecasting, CPFR & forecast accuracy improvements

- Adept in independently conducting Forecasting exercises with a broad array of tools like R/SAS/SPSS. Strong Business Intelligence orientation and making inferences on key Supply Chain health indicators

- Strategizing and working with technology/IT teams to handle large data volumes like POS/retailer feed and running forecast accuracy simulations after harmonization

Key Skills:

- Ability to forecast using SAS/SPSS and thorough understanding of time series and causal models is mandatory

- Exposure & work ex with technology trends like Demand Signal Repository, Data Virtualization and Demand sensing would be a definite plus

- Running simulations and optimization and creating business models from scratch with knowledge of modeling tools like Gams, Cplex and advanced spreadsheet skills

- Good communication skills and ability to front end with clients.

Qualification : Any PG/Graduate from good institutes with qualifications MBA/M.Tech/MS with Industrial Engineering background

Forecasting experience in Mandatory with SAS/R/SPSS.
