- Responsible for the provision of OJT training and Skill enhancement in support of the Business plans and
- Appraisals by coordinating with Training COE
Legal & Regulation:
- Communicating to plant management team and HR manager any changes and revisions to laws and regulations, court decisions, or arbitration decisions that may impact employee and labor relations.
- Support HR Manager on negotiations related to Union settlements
- Periodic update to Leadership on Local ER / IR scenario
- Legal & Statutory Compliance under various laws.
- Liaisoning with Government authorities and Non-
- Government authorities and maintaining very good rapport with them.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education Qualification: Master's degree in Human Resources or Social Work
- Professional Registrations and Certifications: Welfare Officer (is a plus)
- Language Requirements: English, Hindi, Marathi
EXPERIENCE :
- Years of Experience: 12 - 15 years of plant HR experience
- Team management or supervisory experience of at least 3 years is a must
- Experience with ER / IR and managing Contract HC is a must.
- Experience in developing and implementing ER / IR policies, procedures and systems.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team builder with excellent people skills; culturally sensitive and has the ability and interest to identify and work with a multicultural team
- Experience with the multinational organization is a plus.
- Unionization organization experience is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Travel Frequency: 10% within the country to be in other plants / visiting government offices. Oversea training is necessary occasionally.
- The position is situated in an office environment with climate controlled environment. Exposure to plant environment (operating machinery, temperature, noise, odors, dust, drafts and chemicals used in the manufacture of the product) during daily activities and interactions as required in effectively communicating, training and coaching team members.
- Office environment with appropriate office equipment, electronic systems (hardware & software) to effectively accomplish required work assignments and management of function.
- Sitting, standing, lifting (generally under 20 lbs.), bending in performance of office related duties.
