Head - Marketing

Role Description:

- The Head of Marketing will report to the Founders and hold a critical position on the management team with full responsibility for the development and execution of the company's marketing strategy.

- The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior marketing managerial role in the Saas domain with a track record of building brand awareness and generating demand.

- The candidate will be skilled in all aspects of contemporary marketing best practices including inbound/content marketing, B2B, and social media marketing.


- He/She will collaborate closely across the company, in particular with the Executive team and Product Management team, and will have a direct partner alignment with the Sales organization.

- Day-to-day activities will range from strategic (defining overall go-to-market strategies, value propositions, etc.) to tactical (execution of lead generation programs, etc.) He will also be responsible for association relationships and PR to strengthen the company's industry presence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and establish marketing strategies to achieve brand awareness

- Create and manage content pipeline including blogs, white papers, press releases, and sales collateral.

- Manage day-to-day PR relationships with broader strategy input from management to drive market awareness, media coverage and word of mouth among key influencers, analysts and the media through multi-channel communication.

- Measure, evaluate, and continuously assess the impact of marketing programs.

- Partners with the product team to develop product positioning, value proposition, and B2B product marketing plans.

- Track and measure the ROI of programs/campaigns employed.

- Perform competitive analysis and conduct market research. Maintain an updated view of key competitive changes.

- Measure marketing's campaign effectiveness through ongoing identification of key metrics, analysis and reporting.

- Responsible for all industry award submissions and speaking opportunities.

- Plan, budget, and oversee the execution of large-scale trade shows and corporate events.

- Provides on-going development, coaching, and performance feedback for direct reports.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Experience developing B2B marketing strategies and ROI-driven marketing campaigns.

- 10+ years of management experience.

- Entrepreneurial drive and awe-inspiring work ethic.

- Ability to manage multiple agencies (need based) to achieve desired results.

- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross functional teams, and third parties.
