This position provides support to the CEO and is often trusted with complex duties covering all areas of a business. The Chief of Staff (COS) will be entrusted with essentially performing CEO's role in observing and driving various processes covering all areas of the business for overall better functioning of the company. COS will be responsible for managing the calendar for CEO's office and ensuring all the meetings are scheduled with appropriate attendance, prep, pre-read, taking minutes during sessions, ensuring follow up on all items discussed, maintaining databases and producing reports or presentations such as presentations that the CEO will make to the board, to customers, to investors, to political and ministerial leaders, conferences, etc.
The objectives of this role include the following
1. To enhance the functioning of the CEO in all respects possible - efficiency, effectiveness, completeness, strategic, better leadership, drive culture, etc
2. To act as a deputy CEO and assume day-to-day responsibility of tasks, which includes setting leader's strategic priorities and managing the CEO's time
3. To absorb the breadth of different functions and experiences and get groomed to be a future CEO
Position Responsibility
1. Researching, benchmarking, analyzing data and making business recommendations
2. Creating systems and process to streamline operations
3. Updating dashboard for reviewing key performance indicators
4. Coordinating with multiple stakeholders
5. Compiling, assimilating and preparing confidential and sensitive documents and briefs
6. Accessing all communication to the CEO, including emails, and ensuring every single communication is acted upon appropriately
7. Planning and coordinating arrangements for professional conferences
8. Reviewing, proofreading and editing documents
Position Experience
1. Qualification - MBA from tier 1 institute/CA
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience after completion of masters
3. Experience in banking & consulting background will be helpful
4. Aspiration to be a CEO and run businesses in the future
