Job Description & Expectations :
We are looking for highly entrepreneurial and creative Product Managers to help innovate, develop and iterate product features for Pro-Manage. We seek a candidate ready to take ownership of diverse aspects of the product, showcasing the significant innovation and learning demanded by the role
Product delivery :
- Break down the roadmap into epics and features leading to continuous and progressive delivery of superior value to the customer.
- Own the delivery of the product features within agreed timelines.
Customer research :
- Identify and reach out to prospects to perform primary research.
- Use research insights to inform product discovery decisions.
- Maintain documentation on customer pain points as the primary document informing key decisions.
- Share those insights with the wider team - management, marketing, acquisition, design, technology, customer success.
Market research :
- Perform Market research leading to ideal categories and geographies for market penetration keeping in mind the ideal customer profile and other market factors.
- Identify the addressable market opportunity through techniques like TAM analysis.
- Competitor research to inform our marketing and product decisions.
GTM strategies :
- Make significant contributions to Market positioning work by collaborating with the Product Marketing function.
- Contribute to the Pricing strategy to fix prices at a city-category level.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Marketing team on market positioning, messaging statements, marketing content used in prospect journey.
- Serve as the common link between product marketing, acquisition and onboarding teams, creating clarity on roles of specific teams, and a smooth customer journey.
Value proposition design:
- Design the product's value proposition, bring about alignment around the value proposition among the company's leadership.
Vision & Strategy:
- Outline a compelling and inspiring product vision, and strategy that delivers on the vision.
- Bring about alignment around the vision and strategy among the company's leadership.
Own the Roadmap:
- Define and own the quarterly product roadmap, keeping in mind the company's overall vision and direction, customer needs, resources allocated and technical feasibility.
Business partnerships:
- Build relationships with third party partners such as social networks, popular industry specific online directories to expand the breadth of ProManage's offerings.
Experience, Expertise and Qualifications:
- 3 - 6 years of proven experience and expertise
a. Digital product development, preferably for consumer internet or SaaS platforms.
b. Hands-on experience in developing user stories, customer journeys and detailed product specifications.
c. Working closely and collaboratively with technology teams to deliver product features with quality on time.
d. Understanding of principles of continuous discovery and agile product development methods.
e. Understanding of usability and design thinking principles to develop delightful products.
f. Inclination and capability to analyse platform or product usage by customers to develop responsive features.
g. Familiarity and comfort with tools like ChatGPT, DALL-E-2, potentially at an API level.
h. Mastering the ability to seamlessly switch between the details and the broader context entails balancing a keen eye for specifics with strategic thinking.
Qualifications required:
a. Bachelor's degree in engineering from a renowned college and university.
b. Postgraduate from top Business school is a plus.
