Job Description & Expectations :
We are looking for a Manager or Sr Manager to help a portion of the 65,000+ customers of Sulekha achieve tangible business outcomes. He/she will closely work with certain categories of customers and consumers to ensure that they succeed on Sulekha and its associated social platforms.
Customer experience / Customer needs :
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Experience in analyzing consumer/business segments that are best suited for the product and having hypotheses and experiments to acquire these targeted consumers/businesses at scale
Product sales / Pricing / Iterations :
- Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
- Work closely with other marketing team members to acquire consumers/businesses through organic or inorganic means of spending on social, search, and affiliate marketing techniques.
- Analyzing the outcomes that are obtained by spending monies on a variety of platforms to acquire desired consumers/business segments
- Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
Product execution :
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix
- Working closely with engineering teams to realize the product vision and execution/iteration.
Leveraging current reach :
- Utilize current assets of consumers/businesses via a variety of email, SMS, and app campaigns to deliver organically obtained consumers and businesses
- Optimize current Sulekha pages to drive organic growth and drive consumers/businesses to grow and achieve the required product marketing objectives
- Drive referrals from the current base of satisfied consumers/businesses to achieve organic growth
- Ideate on new pages to be created and work with tech-content team members to enable the same and deliver on increased organic reach for desired product marketing segments
- Interacting with select consumers/businesses directly on phone / WhatsApp to understand them better and commissioning research as needed to prove hypothesis on improving organic reach with consumers/businesses
Desired Candidate Profile :
- 4+ years of marketing experience in a digital / SaaS organization with the acquisition of consumers and businesses in the tens of thousands or millions p.m.
- Deep knowledge of consumer/business acquisition tools with expertise across marketing spends in social, search, affiliates, and other digital forms of acquisitions
- 2+ years of experience in digital campaign communication including the varieties of communication methodologies including direct hands-on experience in creative communication (besides working with partners/agencies to help in improving the communication drafts)
- Good analytical knowledge including working knowledge of large data analysis to help analyze campaign outcomes
- Should possess an innate love of data and the ability to see new patterns that impact business
- Positive, initiative driven and passionate about digital marketing
- Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated
- Ambitious and flexible
- Excellent communication and presentation skills particularly in English and spoken Hindi and 1 regional language
