Head of Online Marketing / Director
Job Profile
- As the Head of Online Marketing / Digital Marketing Director / Senior Online Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing the company’s online / digital marketing strategy across a variety channels of channels including SEM, SEO, Email, Affiliates, Social media and Web analytics to help business heads meet customer acquisition / conversion goals
- The role will involve proposing and implementing new technologies in addition to managing a small marketing team
- The candidate must be a passionate and hands on individual with proven success as an online marketer within an online, B2C transactional organization, ideally YP or classifieds or e-commerce
- Accountable for Higher Return on Investment, Branding, Search Marketing, Online Display Buying and Maintenance, Mobile Marketing, Email marketing, etc. to help business heads meet their traffic / acquisition / conversion objectives and goals.
Required Experience / Job Responsibilities
- 10+ years of Online Marketing and business development experience focused on SEO, SEM and SMM
- Deep understanding of the emerging Online Marketing trends
- Managed large budgets to buy and optimize traffic
- SEO skills for both on-page and off-page, link building etc.
- Keyword Research, Analysis and Benchmarking
- Competitor Research, Analysis and profiling
- Optimizing the website content to ensure maximum SEO Benefits [On-page optimization]
- Driving content strategy and efforts to complement the SEO efforts
- Oversee the team of SEO Content writers, Link builders
- Monitor the data from analytics and identify key insights. Translate insights into actionable SEO.
- Constantly test the website for errors that could affect the SEO Strategy and fix them.
- Good relationships with ad-networks
- Involved in launching some viral ideas on the social media is a plus
- To strike mutually beneficial alliances and partnerships with channel, telecom operators, online portals and more
Required:
