- As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis group you will work closely with the South Asia CFO to build annual budgets, monitor monthly results, drive closing and reporting, perform sensitivity analyses, work on strategic initiatives to optimize financial performance and support on various global projects and drives to Global FP&A Leader.


- This role requires strong analytical and judgment skills, operational-driven mindset in addition to experience working with large sets of data.


- You will interface with several finance managers and functions, among which Commercial Finance, Controllership, Tax, Treasury and IT, to coordinate the forecasting and reporting processes.


- This role has visibility within the regional leadership team and global finance team, offers a steep learning curve. This role requires a solid understanding of financial concepts and systems, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Experience in finance modelling, investment analysis, and familiarity with SAP, Tableau, or similar systems and tools are a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Support South Asia CFO and Global FP&A Manager in managing core financial processes & reporting

- Monitor region's performance on ongoing basis

- Challenge Budget achievability by P&L and by function across the South Asia business

- Perform full P&L analysis down to the bottom line and own consolidation of various P&L's within South Asia region

- Build and Monitor Cash-Flow and its movement including non-operational items, closely working with AR, AP team on collections and payment strategies and process improvements

- Closely working with P&L Finance Managers on Performance along with own all aspects of P&L

- Own reporting of region along with Contributing to the development of reporting process, tools and mechanics

- Contribute to monthly Business Review presentations

- Ensure reporting deadlines are met and data presented is accurate

- Provide detailed analysis and operational KPIs to enable decision-making

- Lead forecasting, budgeting and Medium-Term Plan processes for region

- Lead various cost optimization project and transformation plan including SAP related drives and initiatives

- Provide support to functional leaders and business Leader along with CFO with data-driven analysis and support in decision making

- Lead various process improvements - financials and operational, drive with cross functional team on achieving the results and monthly closing process improvement

- Review and lead significant projects and analyze value creation for region

- Coordinate communications across the global Finance team and build collaborative relationships

- Support in leading all P&L accounts on various audits and support controllership team in completing the same on timely basis

- Support CFO in decision making while reviewing the various ratio of business including inventory turns, DSO, DTP, Working capital, Liquidity and profit ratios

- Support Global FP&A Leader on various drives as and when required

Required qualifications:

- MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant or any equivalent qualification

- 5+ years of finance experience with demonstrated increases in levels of responsibility
 
Desired qualifications :

- Solid grasp of core financial concepts. Ability to understand and execute accounting transactions.

- Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems and reporting & analysis tools.

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Should have solid experience working with pivot tables, look-up functions, and charting tools

- Ability to interface effectively with senior business leaders. Capability to translate complex financial sets of data into meaningful analysis and explanations. Experience communicating forecasts, analysis, and variance explanations.

- Flexibility to work across multiple time-zones during fast-paced, compact-closing cycles.

- Strong organization skills. Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- Strong communications skills.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze processes, identify opportunities, and execute improvement projects.
