Role Summary - The candidate will be the Commercial finance leader of CMS for the entire South Asia region driving growth, owning the Income statement and Commercial finance activities in the region working with the leadership team. As a Supply Chain Analyst, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of all financial transactions relating to the plant and warehouse facilities under their control. This includes product costing, inventory, variance analysis, and closing activities. In addition, this position should provide guidance to the plant managers for V1/Planning cycle, financial decision-making, and controllership related issues.
Essential Responsibility
Commercial Finance
- Drive commercial intensity and profitability for the CMS South Asia region
- Lead the overall financial planning and analytics for the CMS product line
- Serve as a business partner to the Operating leaders to drive initiatives, growth, and profitability at EBIT level, delivering on cash targets, robust control on accounts receivables
- Own end to end Income statement and closing cycle
- Partner with Commercial operations and drive sales force accuracy to provide value-added analytics
- Own quarterly and annual forecasts for main indicators (units, sales, and margin) to drive business performance including risk & opportunities (R&O's)
- Support global closing, budgeting and reporting activities
- Use domain knowledge to drive process improvements and automated analytical/digital tools
- Provide leadership on key initiatives and drive simplification projects that will facilitate and increase capacity for value-added financial analysis.
Supply Chain Analyst :
- Monitor and analyze plant costs - partner with plant managers to drive Cost Productivity, Direct Material Productivity and inventory controls
- Run monthly plant technical close and provide expense reporting/analysis/forecasting
- Manage SMNM inventory and partner with PSI to develop operating plans to identify and mitigate future SMNM inventory;
- Support product standard costing updates
- Conduct make versus buy analysis
- Production process order settlement and PPV analysis
- Partner with the operating leaders to drive the development of annual operating plans and estimates (MTP, V1, V3 cycle) for the business Develop additional plant reports and metrics using Tableau
- Conduct internal control/process reviews using knowledge of applicable statutory and IFRS reporting requirements
- Conduct annual physical inventories at the production plants; inventory adjustments, analysis and document best/worst practices
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Build and maintain a FP&A analytics framework in close coordination with colleagues in APAC Region
- Respond to client ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports in a knowledgeable and flexible manner
- Special projects as required by management
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Post graduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a Finance/Accounting role;
- Plant Finance experienced preferred
- Proficiency in Excel & MS Office;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Advanced level of English (both written and spoken);
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues;
- Proven excellent analytical abilities;
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Proven ability to lead and execute.
