Job Responsibilities -
Work with existing clients to manage relationships, make regular site visits to understand issues, suggest solutions and collaborate with delivery teams to accurately interpret business requirements and translate them into solutions for use in building a business case.
Working alongside the sales/delivery team to provide technical expertise in the interpretation of business requirements to build a business case for our client products and services for prospective clients.
- Demonstrate wider understanding of insurance placement and market conditions of UK GI market
- Providing solutions to various technical and conceptual issues raised by Team & Client
Qualifications & Skills -
- Demonstrable experience in Commercial P&C Insurance/ Expertise in slip/submission interpretation for all classes of business
- Deep understanding of personal & commercial underwriting including regulatory requirements for casualty & property products in UK and NA
- Detailed understanding of end to end life cycle of UW and Claims operations
- Understanding of typical industry challenges for a general insurer (UK & NA markets) is faced with in UW Operations and Claims operations
- Understanding of Broker and Insurer Operations in Underwriting Operations
- Working experience on Policy Administration Systems and other applications, Tools, Systems in use by multiple Insurers and Brokers for Underwriting and operations
- Understands Speciality, International placements and reinsurance practices in market
- Awareness of third party sources or market information leveraged by underwriters and Brokers in effective underwriting
- Rating Pitfalls and practices for P&C Products
- Good Understanding of Technology stack available in market to transform underwriting, operations with a focus on underwriting profits, speed to market, NPS
- Effective communication skill with the ability to communicate in person and by phone/video
- An understanding of Lean Six Sigma and its application in operations
- Strong and advanced Excel and Power Point Skills
- Demonstrable Team handling experience
- Solution Oriented for Prospect, Client & Team Members
- Knowledge and experience of how transformation can be led in Claims/UW space by leveraging Technology/Automation etc.
- 10-12+ years experience in managing large insurance services operations in UK general insurance included FCA regulated ops
- Advanced level CII certification
