Our client, a leading consulting firm is seeking a Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their team on a remote basis for an immediate project. This specialist will be instrumental in developing and implementing FTP models tailored for banks, multinational development banks (MDBs), or investment companies.

The selected candidate will play a key role in aligning the FTP practices with the overall financial strategy of the institution, ensuring both compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with the institution's financial objectives.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Develop and implement FTP models that effectively allocate funding costs and revenues across various business units.

- Analyse and interpret financial data from diverse funding sources such as deposits, loans, and investments.

- Create detailed reports on FTP results, offering insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Collaborate closely with departments like Treasury, Finance, and Risk Management to ensure seamless integration of the FTP framework.

- Use the FTP models to assess the profitability and performance of different business units.

- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines and requirements related to FTP practices.

Your Background:

Education: Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as CA, MBA, or CFA are preferred.

Experience: 6-10 years in financial analysis, treasury, risk management, or a related field with specific experience in FTP.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.

Experience with financial software and tools, including Excel, SQL, and specialized FTP software.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the banking and financial services sector, interest rate risks, liquidity management, and the regulatory landscape specific to FTP.

Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyse complex financial data and derive meaningful insights.

Communication Skills: Strong capability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to senior management.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and guidelines related to FTP.

Market Insight: Awareness of market trends and economic factors impacting the banking and financial services industry.

This is a 3 to 6-months contractual opportunity with a high possibility of extension. The selected candidate will be required to support the client on a remote basis.
