Subject Matter Expert / Business Solutions expert

Responsibilities and Duties

- Subject Matter expert for Cash Management solutions covering Payments, Collections, Receivables, Liquidity and Treasury Management

- Discuss with Bank Business and Operations team and understand the requirements

- Analyse the requirements and recommend appropriate solutions

- Document the requirements and Proposed solutions

- Provide clarity and gain acceptance of the requirements from all stakeholders (Bank, Developers and Testers)

- Provide domain support to Developers and Testers during the delivery lifecycle of the solution

- Articulate the proposed solution to the Bank team and ensure its acceptance and approval

- Participate in RFP responses / proposal preparation and / or support to Pre-Sales team

- Setup and conduct product demos and / or training sessions

- carry out research on Industry best practices and share the same with Product platform team for roadmap creation.

Mandatory Skills:

- Thorough understanding of Cash Management domain of Banking

- Conversant with Payment systems such as NEFT, RTGS, SWIFT and their standards

- Good understanding of Wholesale Banking Operations in general

- Good communication both oral and written

- Conversant with SDLC Processes with a focus on Requirement gathering and documentation complete knowledge of the SDLC processes

- Ability to connect with Senior Business and Operations personnel at the Bank

- Good understanding of technology components related to a Banking / Financial solution

Qualifications and Desirable Skills

- 7 to 10 years' experience as an SME in Banking domain / or in the business team of a Bank

- Banking Domain certification

- Prior experience in providing Banking Solutions / as a SME in a Banking Product organization

- Ability to connect with Technical resources and appreciate technical complexities

- Understanding of technical design of a solution will be an added plus
