As an AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) you should have deep understanding of aviation industry trends, challenges, and opportunities and will play a crucial role in guiding our AI solutions to meet the specific needs of the aviation sector. You will work closely with our product development team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure our AI solutions are aligned with industry requirements and deliver exceptional value.
Key Responsibilities:
Industry Expertise: Deep insights and expert knowledge in any of the following :
- Airline - Offer / Order management, with a clear focus / understanding of the revenue generation through direct sales / ancillary revenue. Deeper insights on the dynamic pricing for Passenger
- Deep understanding of Revenue Management function, having in depth knowledge on Demand Forecast / Capacity planning
- In-depth knowledge in the airline operations, which includes Flight / Crew Operations, Engineering, Ground Handling / Baggage Functions
- Good understanding of the Airline Cargo Domain - which includes Dynamic Pricing, Operations, Warehouse management and the regulatory requirements for Customs
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Pre Sales and Product team to strategize the business roadmap for the customers, based on their areas of focus. Work closely with the Data Scientist / AI Engineers to help identify data sets which can refine the AI Solutions, Develop LLMs which can solve industry-specific challenges deliver impactful results.
Product Development: Collaborate with the product team to define the product blueprint / Epic and help strategize building AI solutions in any of the following:
- Work with the product team to develop AI solutions specifically focussing on Dynamic Pricing, Revenue management functions across Passenger / Cargo.
- Focus on building solutions which can help bring in operational efficiencies for the Airline operations - Help building AI Solvers focussing on Tail
- Assignments / Crew Pairing which can help utilising the resources efficiently
- Help the product team in identifying the MVP which can provide business value to the customers, Work with the Product Owners to define the detailed requirements / user stories and help prioritize the stories which can help delivery impactful results
- Client Engagement: Chair the Business Workshops with the clients to understand their pain areas / business challenges and propose tactical / strategic solutions which can help them overcome their immediate and long-term needs.
- Lead the requirements with the customers, help identify gaps in their business process, provide industry best practices which can help overcome existing process challenges
- Participate in consulting engagements with the customers, discuss in detail the industry solutions available in the market, provide a detailed analysis weighing the various options which can help the business need and provide recommendations backed by data which can deliver the desired outcome
- White Paper: Publish White papers in specialized areas of Airline commercial / operations, which can help gain traction in the industry and provide in-roads for new customer wins and deliver AI solutions focusing on business outcomes.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation in the aviation industry.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's in stream, AI, Data Science, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
Experience: 4-5 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a proven track record of working on innovative solutions and projects.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of aviation industry dynamics, including regulations, market trends, and operational challenges.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in the aviation industry is highly desirable.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and engage with clients at various levels.
