Structuring Lead - Investment Bank

Role Purpose

- Lead and manage the Structuring team in Bangalore

- Responsible for building an enthusiastic and motivated team that demonstrates HSBC Group values and principles

- Build the team and continuously source new talent into the team

- Provide leadership, support, guidance and coaching to the analysts in the team

- Frequent liaison with teams in London and Hong Kong to determine requirements for work, provide feedback on progress, and to resolve issues

- Progressing automation initiatives including documentation and actual automation of tasks

Specific responsibilities include:

- Participation in design and production of Value For Money (RBWM business)

- Participation in design and production of stress testing

- Responding to clients' life cycle questions (mtm, events....)

- Participation in developing and maintaining term sheet generator

- Liaising with business to produce MI (ie hit ratio, reverses engineering of prices based on client's feedback, analysis of flows and its impact on the market)

- Development of structuring tools and testing

- Double scripting (new scripted pay-offs need to be scripted twice in parallel to be validated)

Impact on the Business/Function

- Responsible for the planning and delivery of multiple projects/tasks using adequate resources in the team

- Guide and work with analysts in the team on various projects

- Run quantitative research projects

- Multi-tasking by working on multiple tasks/assignment simultaneously
