Job Brief:
- As a Deal support analyst in our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business and portfolio management activities. You will work closely with the business team to evaluate potential business, conduct due diligence, and monitor portfolio companies. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective portfolio companies, including credit assessment, financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment. Prepare business memos and presentations for the business committee.
- Portfolio Management: Assist in the management of the existing portfolio of business, monitoring their financial performance and adherence to loan covenants. Collaborate with portfolio companies to provide support and guidance as needed.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored financing solutions.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities through effective networking and market analysis to expand client base and increase profitability of the portfolio.
- Client Retention: Implement strategies to retain high-value clients, including regular reviews of client satisfaction and prompt resolution of their concerns.
- Cross-Selling Products: Introduce clients to additional financial products and services, enhancing our wallet share and increasing our revenue streams.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare regular reports on the business performance and compliance with business policies. Ensure that all business is following regulatory requirements.
Requirements and skills:
- Master's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field like CA.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in NBFC, business banking, or Fintech, etc.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
- Knowledge of the startup ecosystem.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
