Role Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in edtech or HR/L&D consulting.
You will be responsible for driving business growth by engaging with key stakeholders at University and companies such as Principals, CHROs, L&D & HR professionals, and C-suite Executives.
You will also play a critical role in lead generation, building client relationships, and meeting sales targets. You should have strong communication, presentation, and team management skills.
Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the edtech industry or HR/L&D consulting.
- Strong understanding of how to approach University/college Principals, Dean, Chancellors etc.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop, pitch, and close large deals.
- Proficiency in developing and presenting winning proposals to clients.
- Proven ability to generate leads through various methods, including cold calling and meeting scheduling.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and map potential clients in the education sector.
- Initiate the client discovery process and establish initial contact.
- Conduct in-person meetings to provide product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Maintain regular follow-ups over calls to nurture and expand the sales pipeline.
- Actively reach out to targeted clients, including schools, colleges, universities, and corporate entities, using various communication channels.
- Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and improve sales strategies & build a strong B2B association.
- Develop, pitch, and close deals, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Conduct quarterly check-ins with existing and potential clients to evaluate service satisfaction and promote additional offerings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for acquired clients, coordinating with internal departments for effective execution.
- Manage client relationships, including invoicing, issue resolution, and identifying growth opportunities.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA)or equivalent
