Position: Strategy, Planning, Scaleup, Operations & Governance Lead-Pune Centre (Leading MNC IT Captive)
Role:
- The primary responsibility is overseeing the strategy and planning of Pune center and provide matrix leadership to the Technology, Data & Analytics and COE teams based in Pune
- Provide local oversight to associates in Pune, and work towards expanding their headcount and capabilities, enabling delivery of products and solutions which will drive increased or new revenue for the firm and create a culture of innovation
- Oversee the planning, building and scaling up of operations of the functional center in Pune
- Drive transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Drive continuous process improvement activities and efficiency by monitoring performance / feedback and implementing enhancements
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and success of the GCC
- Successfully implementing organization policies to ensure the center is meeting its short-and long-term objectives
- Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with local and international regulations as well as implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance
- Relationship management up to all levels of executive global management with ability to navigate and influence across complex, cross functional reporting structures
- Work collaboratively with global leaders to understand requirements, effectively build / transition capabilities in Pune aligned with enterprise strategic priorities
- Partner with other support functions such as HR, Finance, Legal, InfoSec, etc. in effective implementation of governance framework and adherence to all local compliance requirements
- Build and sustain the Company culture and drive retention and engagement
- Oversee financial performance of the Pune center and manage organization's resources optimally in line with the enterprise objectives and guidelines as well as according to current laws and regulations
- The role will report into the Head of Global Capability Centers
Requirements:
- Minimum of 16-20 years of work experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or a related function
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Tier 1 Institute) coupled with MBA (Tier 1 Institute)
- Must have handled similar leadership roles for at least 5+ years with responsibility and control over the complete business function and operations management
- Experience in handling projects with multiple work streams and coordinating complex cross-enterprise processes
- Expertise in managing global and cross-functional teams with a strong background in engineering and technology, strategic planning and software development
- Experience in leading high value innovation, applied technology research teams and end-to-end technology solution delivery
- Familiarity with digital innovation and technology scaling
- Experience in the financial services or Fin-tech industry, preferred
- Process driven with strong leadership skills and exceptionally customer focused to create a culture of Customer centricity
- Ability to Deal effectively with demanding situations and design and implement interventions
- Proven and consistent track record of executing against aggressive growth strategies and delivering against targets
