Strategy and Ops CEOs office - An E-comm Unicorn
Job Summary :
- The job requires you to connect with teams regularly and be updated on progress and latest metrics and proactively work with teams to understand and solve challenges and issues.
- You will also work closely with senior leaders on high-priority projects and bring clarity to teams you work with on the CEO's prime concern.
Duties/Responsibilities :
- Assist the CEO & CoS with research and any communication tasks and turn them around quickly.
- Able to fill pieces of the story together to help the CEO come to decisions with cultural/management issues.
- Can build relationships really well across the organisation and externally.
- To be able to connect the dots between teams and team members with ease.
- Ensure that teams have the info that they need, ensure that action items that come out of any events get executed upon.
- Can find small fires before they become big fires. Sometimes that means nudging direct reports/acting on behalf of your boss.
- Comfortable with being the centre without having a lot of ego in it. While you're like the spoke of the wheel, it's not about you, you're the problem-solver and the person that can create success for others.
- Excited to make others successful, in the sense that you're giving them information for a meeting to give the CsEO what he needs.
- Do a lot of due diligence and look out for the best interests of teams.
Required Skills/Abilities :
- Have strong stakeholder management skills to work effectively with senior leaders and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Can navigate ambiguity and are ready to take up new assignments.
- Have strong strategic thinking to understand the different moving parts of the business and are able to prioritise.
- Have a flair for independent research and making good presentations.
- Are analytical and have a keen eye to observe and analyse multiple metrics.
- Dynamic by nature.
- Have a learning mentality and get up to speed quickly on many things.
- Strong problem-solver comfortable working with ambiguity and peeling the layers.
- Understand business and are analytical, research-based Knowledge.
- Open-minded and coachable.
- Can dive deep "in the weeds" on the business side.
- Strong project management skills.
