Key Result Areas
- Lead the strategic planning process for the assigned brands/category based on key consumer insights to enhance the current portfolio and improve communication with consumers.
- Be responsible for defining and executing the marketing communication for driving awareness & adoption of its various products
- Conceptualize, create and execute marketing campaigns for brand/category awareness and visibility
- Consumer & Brand: Defining, Understanding & Recalibrating the Consumer; Defining, Understanding & Recalibrating the brand. Creating the relationship of the Consumer with the Brand. Basis the same, communicate the brand to Consumers.
- Analyze market trend and competitive landscape by segment to recommend product assortment & price positioning.
- Assortment: Basis the need state of Brand's consumer, creating, launching & managing the product assortment for consumers of the brand.
- Business Strategy & execution: Defining the Financial metrics of the business (Across P&L & Brand Investments), Monitoring and delivering the same business metrics for the brand.
Essential Requirements of the role :
- Should have an instinctive feeling about future product concepts
- Should have good analytical skills
- Should be able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business
- Brand/Category manager with experience in launching new product lines (Personal Care is preferable)
- FMCG - HUL, P&G, ITC or other major FMCG company
- Excellent leadership, planning, team management, and relationship management skills/ ability to influence peers.
Qualification and Experience :
- MBA with a Specialization in Marketing from a Premier institute/Batch of 2009/2010/2011
- The desired candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in Brand Management /Category Management
