Strategy Consulting Manager - Energy & Utilities

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Energy and Utilities Strategy Consulting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives, drive transformative solutions, and guide clients in the energy and utilities sector through complex challenges. You will leverage your expertise to deliver innovative strategies that address industry trends, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in the energy and utilities sector, understanding their strategic needs and challenges.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Strategy Development:

- Develop comprehensive strategies addressing energy transition, sustainability, grid modernization, and digital transformation.

- Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Project Leadership:

- Manage and deliver complex consulting projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

- Oversee cross-functional teams, including analysts, consultants, and technical specialists, fostering collaboration and efficiency.

Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy and utilities sector.

- Lead proposal development and client presentations to secure consulting engagements.

Thought Leadership:

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry innovations, and best practices.

- Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, case studies, and conference presentations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).

- 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, with a focus on energy and utilities.

- Proven expertise in areas such as renewable energy, grid modernization, decarbonization, energy storage, and regulatory compliance.

- Strong understanding of industry frameworks, market structures, and emerging trends in energy and utilities.

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver client-focused solutions.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with digital transformation and technology integration in energy and utilities.

- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.

- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.
