Strategy Consulting - Financial Inclusion

Our client is a pioneer in providing innovative business solutions that help build and scale profitable and sustainable enterprises dedicated to social and environmental change. The client is looking for Associate Director, Strategy Consulting (Service Line: Financial Inclusion) .

Job Description

- Develop a financial inclusion service line within the consulting practice;

- Straddle multiple roles involved in building a consulting practice including business development, client relationship management, institutionalization of systems and processes, team building, mentorship, and project oversight;

- Develop and manage client relationships, stay abreast of business opportunities and industry trends;

- Deliver on a top line target;

- Represent the practice in public forum; conceptualize and develop thought leading content;

- Provide management and guidance to project execution teams on approach, structure, managing client expectations and quality control;

- Build and mentor the delivery team to meet current and future client needs;

- Contribute to developing and executing on the domestic and global strategy for the consulting practice;

- Undertake relevant national and international travel as required.

Desired Skills & Experience

- MBA from a premier B-School/an equivalent qualification;

- 10-15 years of experience in banking and financial services sector (non-IT), consulting experience will be an advantage;

- Strong domain knowledge and a proven track record in financial inclusion sectors such as SME financing, Microfinance, Payments, Micro-insurance;

- Good understanding of legal and regulatory infrastructure in the above three segments;

- Successful track record in building business and developing and maintaining client relationships in banking and financial services sector; Experience of working with development finance institutions, multilateral agencies is preferred;

- Experience in managing consulting teams to deliver high quality.
