Strategy Consultant - Power Sector - Consulting Firm - Contractual

At Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects.

Our client is a non-profit foundation, led by former senior partners from MBB firms, focused on driving large-scale transformation in the Power sector. The client is working closely with state governments to implement strategic initiatives that align with the broader goals of sustainable development and modernisation in the power industry.

To support this initiative, they are looking to onboard a strategy consultant with prior experience in the Power industry.

Key responsibilities:

- Conducting in-depth analysis of current practices, market trends, and government policies within the Power sector

- Identifying opportunities for modernization, including technology adoption and sustainable practices

- Leading or supporting the design and execution of key initiatives that contribute to the transformation goals

- Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery of results in line with project goals

- Engaging with government officials, policymakers, and sector experts to align on goals and ensure smooth execution of initiatives

- Facilitating workshops, meetings, and presentations with diverse stakeholders to present insights and actionable recommendations

- Collaborating with other team members and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met

Your background:

- Strategy Consultant with 6 to 12 years of experience of working on projects in the Power sector

- Strong experience in conducting market analysis, assessing government policies, and identifying modernisation opportunities

- Ability to engage and manage relationships with high-level government officials and stakeholders

This opportunity will be on an initial 6-month contract. The consultant will be required to be based in Mumbai for the entire duration of the project.
