Strategy Consultant - Open Banking - Management Consulting Firm - Contractual

What You Will Be Doing :

As the Strategy Consultant, your key responsibilities will include :

- Conducting comprehensive research and analysis of the Open Banking ecosystem.

- Collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges related to Open Banking.

- Developing bespoke Open Banking strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

- Identifying potential business models and partnership opportunities in the context of Open Banking.

- Evaluating current technology infrastructure, recommending enhancements or transformations as necessary.

- Providing insights on data management, security, and privacy considerations within Open Banking regulations and best practices.

- Conducting financial analysis and modelling to assess the potential impacts of Open Banking initiatives on profitability and market position.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless strategy implementation.

- Preparing and delivering compelling presentations and reports to clients.

Your Background :

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

- Proven experience (11 to 15 years) in strategy consulting for a banking transformation, ideally with a focus on Open Banking or financial services.

- Deep understanding of the Open Banking landscape, including regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and emerging technologies.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert complex data into actionable strategies.

- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing successful strategies within the financial industry.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Experience in financial modelling and analysis.

- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Other Important Information :

This role is highly collaborative and fast-paced, requiring engagement with various internal and external stakeholders. The project is likely to start in the next few weeks. This will be on an initial 12-Month contract with a high likelihood of extensions /conversion to a permanent position with the consulting firm due to the scope of the initiative.
