Strategy Consultant - Banking (Public Sector) - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

Our client, a global consulting firm, is currently working on a digital banking development project for a leading bank in India. This initiative aims to create and enhance digital banking solutions specifically for corporate and MSME customers.

The goal is to build robust, user-centric portals that streamline banking processes and elevate customer experiences.

To support this project, they are seeking a Strategy Consultant with substantial experience in the public sector banking industry, either through direct work with a public sector bank or through consulting engagements with PSBs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and implementing strategies to achieve specific business goals

- Managing assigned tasks using a project management framework to ensure efficient delivery

- Presenting findings and recommendations to clients

- Implementing proposed solutions and providing necessary support to clients

- Ensuring effective governance and controls, including reporting, budget management, risk assessment, and issue management

- Leading the entire module while closely collaborating with the rest of the team

- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and effectively managing senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

- 5-8 years of consulting experience, specifically with public sector banks

- A post-graduate degree from a top-tier university is required

- Strong interpersonal and business communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage client stakeholders

- Extensive experience in banking, covering various businesses, products, digital, and technology aspects

This is a contractual position with an initial duration of 12 months. The consultant will need to be based in either Delhi or Mumbai for the duration of the project.
