Strategic Sourcing Manager - Aircare Solutions Manufacturer

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for directing and analyzing the purchasing decisions to make sure the company is maintaining higher profit margins and competitive advantage.

What you will do:

- Managing imports/ exports/ inbound/ Outbound, information flow and physical flow of material.

- Vendor sourcing, negotiating for achieving the cost-effective purchase of raw materials/ semi-finished goods and reduction in delivery times.

- R&D on new products and categories:

- Performing Cost and Should cost Analysis

- Completing work through systems such as Generation of PO, Material Reports, Material Receipts, Dispatches and Inventory Control.

- Stock Verification, Analysis of Vendor Performance & Price Variance & Purchase related all responsibility

- Developing new product sources and managing the entire product lifecycle.

- Preparing purchase schedules for timely procurement of materials, raw materials and capital equipment to ensure smooth execution of projects/ business operations.

- Ordering, tracking and updating category team on status and progress

- Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit/pay terms, service turn-on time, etc.

- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness

- Anticipating unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies

- Solving issues and developing new solutions requiring new and innovative approaches.

- Balancing both tactical executions with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction

- Identifying, developing, maintaining vendor base for obtaining timely procurement of materials at favorable terms to ensure smooth operations.

- Performing risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements

- Managing & preparing performance reports and share the same with respective vendors and within the organization

- Managing day to day operational & logistics-related activities.

- Working with cross-functional teams

- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market

- Exposure to sourcing from India.

- Talent in negotiations and networking

- Knack for technology and tech products

- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
