About the job:
- PASL Ventures seeks a Strategic Research Lead to lead research efforts, deliver insightful analysis, and develop impactful strategies.
- Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will be located in Chennai.
Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and identify potential partners to work with on upcoming products.
- Communicate with manufacturers via virtual channels to grasp their product development and manufacturing abilities, collaborating with the CEO to evaluate compatibility.
- Support initial product development by coordinating NDAs, sharing briefs, and gathering feedback in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Arrange meetings with manufacturers during business trips to facilitate and nurture partnerships for future collaboration and growth opportunities.
- Stay informed about national and international B2B exhibitions to remain up-to-date on industry trends.
- To guide product development, stay updated on market trends by conducting desk research, including secondary research, industry reports, news, and blogs, and monitoring social media.
- Conduct Competitor analysis.
- Create comprehensive reports and visual aids to support management in making informed decisions.
- Occasionally conduct consumer surveys and offline research during initial production stages.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and communication skills for effective interaction with manufacturers and internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience in market research and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and market research tools.
- Proactive and think outside the box.
- Must be based in Chennai
