Business Line : Procurement Services (Technology Procurement)
Educational Qualification: Any Graduate + MBA
Timings : 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. IST
Experience :
Sr. Analyst - 3-5 yrs (relevant work experience, at least 1 year in purchasing)
Asst. Manager - 6-8 yrs (Min 5 years of relevant work experience in a strategic procurement, supply chain management role. Technology procurement-related experience preferred. Legal or paralegal experience would also be useful in this role.)
Travel percent:
Initial training may require travel to the United States depending on the skill set. Longer term travel should be minimal.
Role :
The Global Procurement Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the procurement of hardware, software and related services, including Purchase Order administration, tracking and organizing cost savings data and vendor-specific cost data, as well as administration of certain aspects of intake and lifecycle management of the contractual process.
The Global Procurement Assistant Manager will be responsible for executing certain aspects of the contracting and negotiation processes, which aspects are likely to include assisting in the needs assessment and helping to define requirements on through to developing contractual documents and obtaining signatures.
Key Skills needed:
- MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Must know advanced function and data features to analyze cost data and prepare mathematically-complex statistical reports.
- Detailed knowledge of the Ariba system, preferably.
- Understanding of the U.S. business culture and the desire to increase this skill set through experiential learning.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct negotiations and influence both suppliers and internal clients.
- Ability to read and understand a contract.
- Demonstrated ability to execute strategic sourcing process to reduce costs and improve processes.
