Job description

The Strategic Marketing and Technology Director shall be aligned to the Animal Nutrition Health business in India. You will lead the strategic marketing and technology team, that provides technical applications support and will oversee local technology application centers. This role remains an integral part of our commercial system and will direct the development and implementation of long term strategic plans for business growth in close partnership with Commercial Teams and Pricing, driven by market insights and data.

Key Accountabilities

- Lead the design, development and implementation of marketing programs, update customer segmentation to ensure the business competitiveness

- Drive technology resource allocation and research trials, implementing strategic marketing plans into technology priorities

- Ensure that the strategic marketing and technology are aligned with commercial needs

- Conduct Annual Business planning for the new product services and solutions budget

- Collaborate with the sales leaders to ensure portfolios deliver value to the customer

- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions

- You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs

Desired Skills

- Management degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Minimum of 12 years of related work experience

- Min 8 years of Strong marketing experience

- Min 8 years Strong execution skills and ability to get things on the ground up and running

- Must have the skill to come up with solutions and articulate them to the global SMT team

- Strong reasoning skills and ability to influence the global SMT (Strategic Marketing and Technology) team and cross functional teams

Diversity candidates - highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

- Proven experience in leading marketing projects in the strategy consulting / consumer goods industry

- Strong reasoning skills and ability to influence global teams and cross functional teams

- Strong business acumen

- Excellent execution skills and ability to get things on the ground and running
