Strategic Business Manager/COO - Financial Services

Our client is a global bank and financial services with operations across the globe. As part of global operations, they are actively seeking an experienced individual to be part of their Global Business Management team. The Business Management team plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to Global Investment Bank Policies, optimizing cost controls, and spearheading transformative initiatives.

This is a Director grade role with extensive interaction across other businesses and senior management in the organization.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for both the day-to-day management and acts as a key support contact for executing game-changing strategic initiatives with Front Office Business Heads.

- Lead innovative commercial initiatives that fuel business growth and enhance client experiences catering to suite of Investment Banking and Global Markets businesses.

- Implement cutting-edge performance management frameworks to build a high-performance culture.

- Drive the people agenda, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.

- Maintain a robust control environment to ensure top-tier regulatory compliance.

- Providing strategic support to business leaders.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- At least 15+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in Global Markets and Investment Banking space.

- A relevant qualification (MBA /CA).

- Good understanding of Equity & Debt Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, Advisory and Leveraged Finance businesses.

- Strong communication and influencing skills required to be successful in this role.

- Strong inter-personal skills and evidence of working across teams and geographies to produce timely and accurate output.
