Strategic Analyst

Main Responsibilities:

- Liaise with company's Client Servicing staff to understand the client problems, requirements and expected solutions

- Develop detailed understanding of scope of various projects undertaken for different clients, who are major healthcare payers in the US market

- Understand solutions developed by our actuaries, statisticians and consultants to develop perspectives and insights for the client

- Synthesise the insights provided by different teams into actionable and seamlessly deliver our analytic solutions to US clients and client service teams

- Collaborate with various team members, firm experts and specialized teams to create standardized presentations for client servicing staff and clients

- Manage the workflow within the team with efficiency

- Integrate findings from different sources to develop a holistic solution

- Conduct analyses to identify the drivers of certain trends/observations and present them in a compelling manner; and pursue additional focused tailored analytics

- Derive business insights, solve complex business problems and improve decisions

- Attain in depth knowledge of US Healthcare domain and working closely with the clients on a on going basis

- Acquire deep understanding on key drivers of revenue in US Health care market

- Actively participate in team problem solving to structure the requirement based upon client and market situation and upon understanding the risk drivers and optimization of lifetime value in health insurance

- Engage in regular problem solving sessions with overall leadership and Client service team to present findings and refine their own findings

- Problem solve and propose solutions depending upon given constraints

- Present complex information in an understandable and persuasive and absorbing manner

NEED TO KNOW/REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

- Post Graduate in Business Administration (from Tier one B schools) with at least 2 years of work experience

- Exceptional academic qualifications including some exposure to consumer marketing and/or risk analysis is a big plus

- Strong preference for experience in US health insurance analytics (ideally Individual, Small Group, Senior markets) and an understanding of the key drivers of consumer value in health insurance

Hard Skills

- MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio, other reporting tools)

- Working knowledge of SAS and SQL is a plus
