Strategic Account Director - Analytics
Position summary
- This position is supposed to manage analytics projects in Marketing Analytics and will have a team of Business Analysts reporting directly to him/her. This position is based out of Mumbai, India
Key strength required for this position:
- The person would need to have the ability to think about a business problem without a rigid brief constraining him or her! She should then be able to work with the data & formulate a very specific Analytical problem.
- Post this she should be able to independently drive the analysis process and finally convert the Analytical problem into data-driven insights & executable business strategies/solutions. In most occasions the person would not be building standard scorecards but would be expected to innovate in her approach & actually create a completely new approach.
- The identified person would work in a fast moving environment & would need to be skilled at multi tasking & rapidly moving projects forward. The work environment would give the person huge exposure to multiple industries & projects. However as against a typical KPO, this environment would need the person to typically complete projects with rapid turn around times.
Detailed Role description:
- To drive Analytical solutions to clients through detailed drill down analysis of key Analytical Techniques & initiatives, interpreting results, and making strategy recommendations through the use of various analytical tools
- To lead a team of Business , Data & Statistical Analysts
- To be the owner of business from profitability, client relationship & people perspective
- Collaborate in developing strategies and methods of modeling for analysis, mining, and reporting on customer data
Key Deliverables
- To conceptualize Analytical models, tools & techniques relevant as per client’s expectations & based on client’s business needs
- To Lead teams cross functional teams & integrate various aspects of Data, Analytics, Marketing , etc & achieve business & client goals
- To manage multiple projects simultaneously & drive teams to achieve business results
- To get hands on in using Analytical tools to design & implement models
- To be responsible for data structuring prior to analysis
- To handle everyday Operations in terms of reporting, Business Intelligence tools, campaigns etc & be able to look at strategic direction of the clients by devising new approaches of using analytics for marketing
- Generate new projects & in turn revenues from existing clients by suggesting innovative analytical frameworks, techniques, projects etc
- Ensure client retention & facilitate growth of business handled
- To devise client roadmap for all clients & engage clients periodically through new initiatives, projects etc
Reporting Structure
- Positions reports to the Business Head
- Will have Analytics managers, Business Analysts & statisticians
Qualification & Exp
- BE/Mtech + MBA from premier institutes with at least 7 yrs of hands on Analytics experience or consulting exp
- Experience of using analytics across a range of industries like Retail, Banking & Finance, etc
- Prior experience of data-mining will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with databases, analytical software & open source tools will be an added advantage
