Overview /Objective:

- We are seeking a skilled and analytical Credit Risk Business Analyst to join our Analytics team.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background business analysis and project oversight or credit review experience.

- As a Credit Risk Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing the credit risk associated with our lending and investment activities.

- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop risk models, and provide insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in credit risk assessment.

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging risk factors.

- Collect, analyze, and interpret large sets of financial data to identify trends and potential risks.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track credit risk metrics.

- Experience in speaking to stakeholders and gathering business requirements

Should have some form of Underwriting experience such as:

1. Credit card product knowledge

2. Auto product knowledge,

3. Mortgage experience in addition to unsecured lending, e. , unsecured loans

4. Account lifecycle; acquisitions, account management, collections

5. Reducing losses, segment expansion, testing in the marketplace

- Prepare documentation and reports for regulatory submissions and audits.

Required Qualifications:

- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience (4+ years) in credit risk analysis, business analysis, or related roles within the financial services industry.

- Experience in US banking domain.

- Hands- on experience in Python/Pyspark, SQL, visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau

- Knowledge of credit risk models and regulatory frameworks

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset toward problem solving and risk mitigation.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
