ASSISTANT MANAGER, PRICING
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develops robust pricing strategies and scalable frameworks across business verticals in accordance with current business requirements
- Implements pricing decisions to maximize revenue in line with other business factors (e.g., headcount)
- Creates comprehensive reports that provide pricing analytics and pertinent insights in line with financial performance monitoring as well as supporting business decisions
- Oversees the regular monitoring and analysis of price performance in collaboration with business vertical leaders to identify opportunities on growth, profitability and better market share
- Initiates pricing activities such as product pricing, development and approval through pricing model development, assumption selection, profitability testing and regulatory filing, including for RFP/Proposals to support both existing and new clients
- Structures cost saving/revenue improvement initiatives on for both existing and potential clients
- Supervises the implementation of pricing projects and initiatives for the enterprise.
- Functions as the subject matter expert on pricing strategies, processes and researches to share valuable insights and propose appropriate solutions to business needs
- Monitors market trends to evaluate and benchmark competitor and industry pricing
- Conducts regular pricing reviews with Senior Leadership, business leaders per vertical as well as other Support groups during the RFP cycle.
- Collaborates with the Sales Strategies and Marketing teams to enhance profitability in terms of ensuring viability of tenders, contracts and client proposals
- Supports the streamlining and thorough documentation of internal processes, policies and structures to ensure efficient governance and compliance per set standards (internal and external) on discounting and pricing-based solutions
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :
- Must have 3-5 years' experience in dynamic pricing/revenue management roles including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating a pricing process documentation.
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or any Commerce/ Business/Actuarial courses
- Must have a robust background in actuarial concepts relating to product pricing and profitability with a competent understanding of pricing strategies and concepts
- Must have strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Must be highly comfortable with numerical data and possesses good problem-solving abilities
- Must be proficient in Quantitative/Financial Data Analytics
- Must be well-experienced in project management
- Must have advanced-level MS Excel skills
- Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
