Job Description :
- STP Investment Services is seeking a self-starter and motivated Tea Lead to join them in this newly added role. The Team Lead will work closely with the Systems, Software, and Professional Services Development teams to ensure that projects are well defined, tracked adequately with metrics, remain on schedule, and are delivered on time. In addition, this person will interact directly with clients to gather requirements, communicate project status, and manage expectations.
- This person will coordinate project resource staffing, and lead the India development team hiring and recruiting efforts. Strong communication skills are critical to interface daily with clients, the division heads, and India team leads of the Systems, Software, and Professional Services development teams. In addition to project management tasks, the role requires flexibility to serve other hands-on roles as needed including requirements gathering and business analysis. The Team Lead will report project metrics to the management team regularly and strive for continuous improvement.
- The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Preferred candidates will have at least 8 years of professional experience working in the Capital Markets industry with various web, database, and system technologies.
- Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision within a structured environment, possess excellent teamwork, organization, troubleshooting and communication skills. Additionally, the successful candidate must be enthusiastic, diligent, and take initiative and pride in their work. Self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly and deliver are essential skills and the key to success in our dynamic environment.
Position Requirements:
1. 8-10 years Capital Markets industry experience required
2. 8-10 years of project management/business analysis experience required
3. 8-10 years of leading/managing a mid-sized development team with team members spread across different locations required
4. Experience interfacing directly with US or European clients within Capital Markets required
5. Experience with setting up and leading level 1&2 production support teams required
6. Experience in SDLC and Agile development frameworks required
7. Experience in business process re-engineering, business systems analysis, process improvement involving broad-based information systems utilizing tools and techniques required
8. Experience working on global development teams with 24x7 development capabilities required
9. Experience with Order Management Systems (Charles River, Longview, Bloomberg AIM) preferred
10. Experience with Capital Markets Data Services (Bloomberg, RIMES, IDC, Reuters) preferred
11. Experience with Accounting Systems (Eagle, Portia, Advent, SS&C) preferred
12. Experience with data management products (Markit EDM, Goldensource, Eagle) preferred
13. Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the tech team, including the use of collaboration tools, source control, documentation and bug tracking
14. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and changing priorities
15. Strong written and verbal communication skills
16. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
17. Possession of a B1/B2 US Visa preferred
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Master of Computer Applications (CPA) preferred.
Experience:
