Store Manager - Designer Brand
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our flagship store in Delhi for a renowned designer brand. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion, possess exceptional leadership skills, and have a proven track record of driving sales and delivering outstanding customer service. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store operations, including sales, staff management, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff members achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence in customer service.
Sales and Performance Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement effective sales techniques and promotional activities to drive traffic and increase conversion rates.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a memorable shopping experience.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to build customer loyalty and increase repeat business.
Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation:
- Oversee the visual merchandising of the store to ensure that displays are attractive, on-brand, and effectively showcase merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure that the store layout and presentation are optimized to maximize sales and create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy and prevent shrinkage.
- Work closely with the buying team to forecast demand and plan inventory purchases accordingly.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including those related to security, safety, and loss prevention.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including back-of-house areas.
- Manage store expenses within budgetary guidelines and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the fashion or luxury goods industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitability.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
