Sales Head
- We are hiring a Store Head for a reputed jewellery showroom which has been in the industry for the past 56yrs who is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets, with a key focus on managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the sales division.
Work Location : Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns.
- Oversee the sales process, ensuring high conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
P&L Management :
- Manage the P&L for the sales division, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor sales performance and financial metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the sales department.
- Analyse financial data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Team Leadership & Development :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, and regularly assess performance.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
- Handle high-value customer interactions and negotiations with finesse and professionalism.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis :
- Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
- Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and identify new market opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Reporting & Analytics :
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, financial metrics, and market trends.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
- Present reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key areas of success and
areas for improvement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA is
preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the luxury jewellery or luxury retail industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing P&L with a strong understanding of financial metrics. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep knowledge of the luxury jewellery market, customer preferences, and industry trends.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
