Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of stockpile operations, including the stacking, reclaiming, and management of iron ore pellets.

- Implement and maintain best practices for efficient storage, ensuring optimal material quality and minimizing degradation.

- Develop and implement strategies for separate storage of different materials, optimizing space utilization and preventing contamination.

- Conduct regular inspections to assess stockpile conditions and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing stockpile operations, including stacking, reclaiming, and material inventory.

- Maintain accurate records of production dates, chainages, and other relevant data for material traceability and customer information.

- Manage all stacker, reclaimer, and conveyor operators, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

- Possess a strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and environmental standards.

- Collaborate with management to identify material types and allocate appropriate storage locations.

- Coordinate with the Ports team during vessel loading operations to optimize loading efficiency and minimize delays.

- Continuously improve stockpile operations by implementing lean manufacturing principles (5S) and promoting best practices.

- Utilize data analysis to identify opportunities for further optimization and cost reduction.

Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (relevant field) with 5-10 years of experience in stockpile management or a related field.

- In-depth knowledge of stockpile operations, including stacking, reclaiming, and material handling techniques.

- Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations applicable to stockpile operations.

- Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and liaisoning skills.

- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Commitment to continuous improvement and implementing best practices.
