Stellar Value Chain - Solution Design Manager

The Role:

- Develop solutions to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and increase revenue in warehousing and transportation.

- Will be responsible for the preparation of innovative, timely, professional solutions for clients' supply chain challenges.

- The Head Solution Design also plays a key role in contributing to the operational efficiency and financial success of the company through effective planning, execution, resource management and delivery of projects on time and budget.

- This role collaborates with all internal functions and client's teams, including Procurement, IT, Finance, Transportation Operations, and other business units.

Key Responsibilities:

- Makes decisions and recommendations that would normally result in winning new or adding existing business in close collaboration with Business Development team.

- Work closely with the Business Development team and support to develop a pricing and gross margin management process which will optimize revenue growth, profitability.

- Understand the 'as-is' Supply Chain process of the customer with respect of Infrastructure, Process, Technology and People and design best in class solutions to bring in value chain transformation.

- Identify requirements for, and develop appropriate proprietary tools to support the process where required, e.g. cost models, productivity tools, warehouse sizing, etc.

- Design to drive warehouse performance to achieve cost targets, develop action plans to improve productivities and efficiencies.

- Develop and execute integrated Supply Chain solutions in the areas of Transport management and Returns management (Reverse Logistics).

- Design and Analysis of routine and peak volume in the pursuit of new business, RFQ and evaluate and determine costs of solutions, formulate account strategies for leveraging solutions, and gain agreement on established value propositions.

- Ability to complete and/or overview the completion of all project components to meet appropriate economic standards ensures customer satisfaction, timely completion, and project profitability.

- Ability to provide direction, motivation, training, and decision support to project staff.

- Must understand and negotiate a profitable pricing structure and service-level agreement that will increase the company's - share of wallet- in the warehousing and logistics industry.

Qualification

- B.Tech

- Experience in handling data analytics / science team and abreast with latest technologies / tools available in the industry.
