We are looking for professionals with a proven record in creating partnerships with agro-input companies, understanding of agro-input value chains, and engaging with stakeholders in agro-input ecosystem including seeds, crop protection and crop nutrient for an AgTech/e-Commerce organization. Someone who have driven diverse teams of agro-input retail sales professionals and farm extension executives. This position is a revenue generation position. S/he has a self and team targets on business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand a portfolio of agro input partners by networking, relationship marketing and concept selling
- Plan on ground studies and surveys to identify trends to conceptualize technology driven agro input sales and marketing
- Prepare business development visits and presentation to pitch product, service and combination packages to partners and retailers / farmers
- Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of the products
- Traveling to partner / customer's location to discuss the product range
- Create marketing literature and digital marketing to promote products and time sensitive sales
- Establish program goals, implementation of the plan and tracking the progress
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals
Requirements:
- Should have good understanding of agro input supply chain
- Should have good understanding of the competitors especially the new age startups
- Strong communication skills
- Skills to engage with farmers
- Good presentation skills
- Management and leadership skills
- Mentoring and coaching team
Qualification
- MBA in Agri / Rural management is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture
- Proven track record of working in agro input / AgTech companies focused on agro input
- 5-8 Years of experience
